Mental health is often stressful and impersonal. GreenMind branding reflects its mission to create a more positive, personal experience, with a calm color palette, soft typography, and a playful logo and UI elements.
The essence of green plays a pivotal role, symbolising growth, tranquility, and renewal qualities integral to mental health recovery and maintenance. To enhance the visual appeal and user engagement, I incorporated bright colours that contrast effectively with various shades of green. These vibrant colours draw the user's attention to key features and navigation elements.
I focused on crafting custom icons and buttons that enhance the app's usability and aesthetic appeal. The choice of shapes, colours, and symbols was guided by user experience principles, aiming to make the interaction as engaging and straightforward as possible.
A business model canvas was used for organising and refining the strategic direction I was taking GreenMind. GreenMind's revenue streams include subscriptions, affiliate marketing, and in-app purchases, with costs associated with development, marketing, and operations.
To establish a realistic budget for developing and maintaining the GreenMind app, I conducted a thorough assessment to generate ballpark figures for the estimated costs. This involved analysing the financial aspects of similar projects to gauge the necessary investment in technology, design, and content creation.
